Crete and Vendée (France)
The school term is already half-way and in only three weeks, you may be off skiing, sunbathing, walking or just taking a staycation. We will be going to the Scottish highlands: no sun for us but the scenery is so beautiful, I know we will feel like we have flown long distance. We will be staying at a sister hotel to Killie Huntly and at the aclaimed Fife Arms. Can't wait to share more with you!
Usually winter and January in particular can feel a bit bluesy but this year, I'm taking it as a season of rest, reflection and mindfulness. There's a reason nature hibernates, so that it can recover and emerge full of energy and new flowers in Spring. I wonder what kind of blossoming is in store for me in April :-)
Talking of Easter, below are a few ideas that would work well for a break. I hope you find something that inspires you.

Number One Bruton: if the Newt is full or too costly, have a look at this pretty B&B which just opened in the nearest village. The restaurant should be quite good too.
Les Terrasses, Ibiza: I was asked for a family-friendly place on the island on Instagram and immediately thought of this. Stylish and great food.
Caesars Gardens, Lindos: only for adults but lovely hotel with a great pool within a 10-minute walk from Lindos’ main square and a 15-minute walk from the beach.
Safe and beautiful travels,
Stéphanie
