A short newsletter today but with lots of pictures and a video from our fabulous stay at Hotel Castello di Reschio in Italy.

I may have mentioned before that we are celebrating our 20th anniversary of meeting up. It was in Paris at the end of September, it was very hot and of course a very special day.

This time, Mr Big was in charge of booking our trip, with the help of the always fabulous Mr Tripper. I had given him some hints as to where I would quite like to go and he didn’t disappoint.

Castello di Reschio has been on my bucket list ever since I listed it in my list of new hotels in 2020. It’s beautiful oval shaped pool, majestuous medieval hotel and lush countryside coupled with a fabulous opulent interior design was always going to be a seductive proposition.

Well, I can tell you that it doesn’t disappoint.

We arrived yesterday and have been welcome very warmly by all the staff and the general manager. The room is full of personal touches, the grounds are superb, the views of the tuscan countryside just starting to turn into autumnal coulours fabulous and the pool just the most wonderful one ever.
