Dear lovely supporter

With a bit of delay due to the Easter weekend, here is your monthly update with new hotels on the map and news about new hotels openings since I last emailed you in February. Some are brand new and others are a reinvention of old hotels. They are all worth having a look in any case!

26 new addresses on the map

The map has 26 new addresses. You can see them by their colour: pink for “no pool” and purple for those addresses “with pool”.

By the way, did you know you can also access those addresses on your Google maps app on your mobile? I added some instructions at the bottom of this email.

If you have any issue accessing it, just email me.

New openings

With spring comes a lot of new openings: 8 in this newsletter plus 4 that had a full refurbishment. There are also some places that opened at the beginning of April but I will list them in the next edition.

1. Vermelho Hotel, Melides

From 270 Euros - Check latest prices and availability

A long time in the making, this hotel designed by the famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin opened in April, a few months before it’s planned summer unveiling. Set in the center of the village of Melides, the hotel has just 13 rooms. Louboutin recruited architect Madalena Caiado to oversee the project to make sure it blends into the surroundings and doesn’t detract from the area’s natural beauty. The photos on the website are certainly beautiful! There is also a restaurant, serving organic, seasonal cuisine.

2. One to definitely put on your radar!

It looks so stunning that I couldn’t help myself and immediately enquire about booking a few days here this summer!
