The Fife arms review
My review of this unique hotel in the Cairngorns in Scotland. It's not every day that you dine with a Brueghel in the room!
I am very jealous of those of you who have experienced snow falls this past week. ❄️I know that it can create havoc for transportation and that it gets dirty in the city after a few days when it melts and becomes muddy. But waking up to a white blanket of snow in the garden is so magical!
It brings peace, silence and joy and the inner child in many of us. You only have to look at those scenes of people going down Montmartre on a luge or having a snowballs fight in Madrid!
So when the forecast said that in 6 hours there will be snow in London, I was very excited. I even woke up several times during the night to check. But it skipped us to go straight to Paris 😥
The last time we saw snow was actually in Scotland last February. Stage 2 of our trip is up on the blog. It is yet a very unique escape, in a very different style from Lundies House and very enjoyable too.
I hope you are all keeping well despite the grey days and dark days. Maybe some of you are even planning some holidays? Let me know.
