Where interior designers go for a chic hotel stay
Finally: only a few days left of this miserable 2020 year! Didn't turn out as any of us expected it, did it? Certainly, given my love of escapes and the fact that my blog is all about travel, it was quite a challenging year.
I am lucky that the blog is a hobby but I do feel for my fellow travel bloggers who make a living out of it, it's been really hard for them. I do hope and wish them some respite and better success in 2021.
So we learned about discovering the world near us, enjoying staycations, exploring our inner world and doing some deep thinking but you know what, I REALLY crave going further than 100 km from London and going abroad. What about you?
Therefore I really wish you all a happy, healthy and wandering 2021. May the world be open to us all again.

Chapel Barn Estate, Suffolk, UK
This collection of worker’s cottages and barns has been lovingly restored and are a good base for family and friends celebrations. We stayed in their other estate a few years ago. It was in February so more affordable. Some of the houses have sauna or pools and you can order food to be delivered. Lovely design and service, albeit pricey.
Safe and beautiful travels,
